The BX Press Cidery & Orchard

Even if you’re just passing through Vernon, it’s worth a short drive off the main route to visit this quaint, family-owned cidery. Nestled in the beautiful BX area of the North Okanagan, third-generation apple farmers Dave and Missy got their recipe right when they ventured into craft cidery a few years back. Still gaining ground, it won’t be one of Vernon’s best-kept secrets for long. In fact, they often sell out of their popular ciders, as locals and visitors alike indulge in their high-quality sparkling sips.

The tour is also a history lesson on the Barnard’s Express Stage Line, one of the oldest, largest, and longest running stagecoach companies in North America. COVID 19 restrictions apply.

Valley Vagabonds Inside Tip

If you want to make an afternoon of it, pack a picnic and drive five minutes to BX Falls (link to BX Falls under Play) after your cider tour to enjoy a beautiful hike.
