Thornhaven Estates Winery

Serving an amazing array of wines at it’s tasting room on Bottleneck Drive, Thornhaven Estates Winery really impressed us.

Light-hearted goodness best describes their cotton candy-coloured infusion of Pinot Noir, Pinot Meunier and Syrah bubbles that the owners claim, “ has created summer in a bottle”. We absolutely agree.

Using a gravity-fed wine-making process - this family-run business is good to the core. The winery grapes are grown on the original estate of 18 acres with an additional 16-acre parcel purchased to complement the Summerland vines. The estate vineyard rows flow neatly down from the tasting room laying out a well-sculpted landscape that punctuates the sub-arid terrain.
