SpierHead Winery

Nagging Doubt artisanal wines bear handcrafted labels chalked by Dana Tanamachi

This quaint little winery is a more Tuscan inspired gem in East Kelowna. A trip to SpierHead offers up more than a complementary tasting of award-winning wines – it also provides visitors a pristine picnic stop where picking and sampling of the grapes is an interactive part of the winery experience.

Their on-site chef serves farm-to-picnic-table fresh tapas, charcuterie and small bite offerings that are meant for sharing. We really enjoy their Pinot Noir and uncomplicated style. All of their wines are made from hand-harvested grapes grown in South East Kelowna. West Kelowna, and Summerland.

Valley Vagabonds Inside Tip

A trip during the harvest season is always enjoyable. The winery is a little less busy allowing for fabulously intimate service and perhaps a personalized tour of the vineyard.
