East Kelowna Community Market

For the past 80 years, the historic East Kelowna Community Centre has been a gathering place for the locals. Today, it is the where a wide variety of artisans, craftspersons, farmers, and makers meet every Sunday to sell their wares; it is also The Vagabonds home market.

Whenever we get a chance to gather our collections and mingle with like-minded vendors, this is where we set up shop (actually a 10’ x 10’ tent overflowing with sustainably handcrafted offerings). The market starts inside, sprawling into the outdoor areas which host food trucks, wine tastings, and local musicians (when COVID guidelines permit). Our booth is the pick-up spot for our Responsible Travel Boxes and Sustainable Travel Bags, as well as a large collection of handcrafted wool sweaters and ponchos including vintage Cowichan-inspired knits.

Fabulous seasonal samplings from local shakers (cocktails), orchardists, wineries, and pioneering families can be found at this large but intimate market filled to bursting with goodness.

Valley Vagabonds Inside Tip

This is a large and popular market so expect socially distanced wait lines and come with a mask, if you don't have one we always have a few of our bamboo offerings on site. You can sign-up in advance but will have to provide contact information before entering.
