Kalamoir Park
Located in West Kelowna, Kalamoir Park claims a vast expanse of beachfront a short drive off of Route 97. One of the pristine gems of the valley its reach extends from the shores of Okanagan Lake up the west side of Mt. Boucherie where hikers can climb to the doorstep of some of the most picturesque vineyards in the valley.
The belle of West Kelowna, Kalamoir boasts a long, natural shoreline riddled with designated dog beaches and private coves. A recent addition to the park is an accessible dock for mobility-challenged kayakers and canoeists to launch into some of the calmest waters on Okanagan Lake.
Valley Vagabonds Inside Tip
Make sure to bring a picnic lunch and blanket as there are only two picnic table on the beach. Water shoes are strongly recommended for a quick dip into any of the designated swim areas.
