Paynter's Fruit Market

Just a quick jaunt off Route 97 in historic Westbank, Paynter's Fruit Market pays tribute to the farm fresh goodness of the Valley. A member of Kelowna's Farm to Table initiative, and the Westside Farm Loop, this quaint market is best described as an agricultural exhibit featuring original works by Mother Nature.

A family-run business, the Paynter's are pioneering members of the community. Collaborating with local farmers their shelves are stocked with unique and flavourful offerings.

Cycle-up, for a gloriously tasty experience.

We enjoy our trips to Paynter's and plan our meals around their seasonal offerings. Our favourite time to visit is early fall when plump peaches, plums, and apples wrestle with melons and squash for counter space and a spot at the table. Oh come on, who are we kidding - there's always room at our table for everyone.

This is a seasonal offering check website for hours, COVID 19 protocols are in place.

Valley Vagabonds Inside Tip

The Paynter family have worked the land for over 60 years. Along with the Market they also own the groovy organic winery and yoga studio, Off The Grid, featured in SIPS West Kelowna.
