This Vagabond favorite is also featured in the EATS category because it’s simply a must-experience destination in the valley. Creating world-class wine and dine experiences is the Stewart family’s mission and this multigenerational effort has paid off with Quail’s Gate gaining international recognition and awards for its efforts.

Never one to rest on its laurels, this belle of the valley’s offering up some fine wines this season including its newly bottled Bordeaux style classic - Connemara.  Featuring a fully licensed vineyard it doesn’t matter if you’re picnicking amongst the vines, sipping in the tasting room or pairing wines with food in the Old Vines Restaurant.

Make sure to do a complete tour of the winery including a trip through Allison House where grab-and-go picnics are often offered for sale. Accompanied with a bottle of wine purchased from the tasting room you can enjoy your booty picnic style amongst the vines.
