The Harvest Golf Club

One of our favourite places to golf in the valley, this KLO gem is a world-class golf course that doesn’t take itself too seriously. Visiting their website, they chat a bit about the spectacular Okanagan views which they have in spades, award-winning service - check and golf that’s second to none – seconded, and then suggest they sound a wee bit like braggarts – well we say brag on!

And we’re not too proud to lift their bragging rights straight from the site: “At 7,109 yards, The Harvest is a championship-length layout designed by renowned Canadian golf course architect Graham Cooke. Literally shaped from an orchard, many fruit trees still dot the course and add to its splendor and a-peal – pun intended!” And we add, offer a tempting snack for the picking. The course plays wide and scenic with well placed dips and beaches to keep you in the game.

Valley Vagabonds Inside Tip

Book well in advance of your visit as this is a real gem that’s justifiably busy. In the summer try to book an early tee time that allows you to continue on up KLO, making this a daytrip to remember. This pick is also a featured venue in our DIY Day Trips.
