Kangaroo Creek Farm

Did you know the Okanagan is the only place in Canada that is home to an abundance of Kangaroos? While they may not be native to our part of the world, they've found the perfect home in Lake Country. For more than 20 years, dozens of roos and wallabys have roamed the grounds of the farm, getting cozy with guests and staff.  You might have to wait in line for a few minutes, but you’ll be able to cuddle a baby roo wrapped in a blanket and ready to cozy up. Totally worth it!

Also on site, you’ll find emu, peacocks, parrots, fancy chickens, goats and potbellied pigs, as well as capybara, the world’s largest rodent, which can weigh more than 150 pounds.

Valley Vagabonds Inside Tip

Arrive in the morning if possible, as Kangaroos hit the sack early; the park closes daily at 2pm. This is a cash only stop costing: Adults $10, Youth (under 19) $5, Seniors (65+) $5, Children under 5 free.
