Haynes Point Provincial Park
Haynes Point Provincial Park is located just outside of Osoyoos, the hot spot of the Okanagan. This sandy beach is actually a narrow slice of land that juts far into the lake offering up water front campsites for vagabonds that like to sleep, eat and play their days away – on the beach. For those arriving for a day of play, there are ample change rooms and picnic tables available along with a pet beach for K9 companions.
This popular park is a favourite of both locals and tourists offering up the warmest waters in the valley so be sure to claim your beach space earlier in the day.
Valley Vagabonds Inside TipMake sure to bring water shoes as the sand gets quite hot. Also, a sun umbrella would help extend the day by shading you from some of the intense rays in this desert oasis.
